Description
The Structured Investments Distribution Engineer at iCapital will design and implement systems powering the iCapital platform, focusing on highly performant and intuitive APIs and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Build cloud-native services using Scala with open-source frameworks like Akka and ZIO.
- Contribute to unit and integration test development using Scala Test and ZIO Test.
- Participate in stand-up meetings and peer code reviews as part of the standard SDLC and Change Management Process.
- Collaborate with the Product Management team throughout the software development process.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Software Engineering.
- 5+ years of web-based application development experience.
- Experience in Scala, Node.js, or Java is a plus.
- Understanding of relational or NoSQL database concepts and modeling practices.
- Passion for learning new technologies.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
- Solid problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
