Description
Cygnet Health Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a Band 5 role at their Harrow location. The successful candidate will provide assessment and treatment of occupational needs under the supervision of the Head of Occupational Therapy. The role involves working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including Psychology, Psychiatry, Nurses, mental health support workers, and ward admin staff.
The service provides a recovery-focused approach to treating a wide range of mental health problems, including specialist diagnostic, assessment, and inpatient services for individuals with mental health needs and dual diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing assessment and treatment of occupational needs
- Supporting student education within the team
- Taking a leadership role in specific projects
- Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team
The role offers a comprehensive 12-month preceptorship program for newly qualified Occupational Therapists, expert clinical supervision, and dedicated CPD time for peer support, skill development, and specialist training.

Salary: £37,815 to £41,785 per annum
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week
