Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Sofia, Bulgaria. The successful candidate will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will deliver data center infrastructure consulting and Java scripting services related to data and web center transformation, consolidation, virtualization, automation, and cloud solutions. You will provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams, maintain effective customer relationships, and engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams
- Maintaining effective customer relationships
- Cluster deployment and node lifecycle management
- Bare-metal automation
- Patch, compliance, and capacity management
- Regularly supporting technical assessments and deliveries of specific technical solutions
- Realizing and implementing new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in computer science or equivalent
- Real-life experience in cloud project delivery, including the design phase
- Fluent English language skills
- German language skills as an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent customer communication skills
- Detail-oriented and reliable
- Strong team player with a proactive, leadership-oriented attitude
