Description
Multimatic is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure consistent production of high-quality products within the automotive assembly environment.
The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems, standards, and processes for new, existing, and service programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities
- Supporting program reviews and cross-functional meetings
- Reviewing dimensional reports and Statistical Process Control (SPC) studies
- Coordinating and leading special studies and investigations
- Serving as a primary quality contact for customers
- Developing and implementing Control Plans
- Leading root cause analysis for internal and external quality issues
- Generating and presenting customer-specific quality reports
- Promoting and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Canadian-issued or recognized for equivalency University Degree or College Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering
- Three to Five years of working experience in a related field or discipline
- Excellent problem-solving techniques and methods
- Good technical report writing abilities
- Excellent communication skills
The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $57,658.00 - $107,000.00
