Spire Washington has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Clinical Healthcare Assistant to join our team based in the Wards on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will provide exemplary planned care for patients while managing more than one clinical team. You will be required to assist our Clinical team in providing exemplary care within the department, whilst providing Healthcare Assistance to our Nursing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing routine care to ensure patients' health and well-being
- Moving and setting up diagnostic equipment and other resources
- Applying technology for measurement, monitoring, and treatment
- Assisting with Venepuncture and ECG Recording (with experience or a willingness to learn)
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Previous experience working as an HCA in a hospital setting, surgical ward, or ward experience
- System literacy, including MS Office and SAP (desirable)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
