Description
WSP USA is offering a Full-Time Civil Engineering Intern position as part of their Summer Internship Program. The internship will last for 12 weeks, starting on May 17th, 2027, and is based in their San Francisco office.
As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will support various engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with project research, preliminary design calculations, and analysis
- Supporting the preparation of design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates
- Collecting and maintaining project documentation
- Completing training on assigned tasks
- Exercising responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct
To be eligible, you must be actively enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering or related undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later. You should also have:
- Demonstrated interest in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools
- Authorization to work in the United States
Preferred qualifications include experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation and prior internship or leadership experience.
The expected salary for this position is between $19 and $30 per hour.
