Description
As a F&B Management Intern at Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam, you will be part of a team that offers five-star luxury in a unique and historic setting.
You will work closely with the F&B manager to ensure that all F&B outlets in the hotel run smoothly. During this internship, you will be introduced to various aspects of the F&B departments, such as administration, marketing, planning, and complaint handling. You will be responsible for managing our online reservation systems and corresponding correspondence. You will also work closely with different departments and their managers. In addition, you will be involved in organizing events and implementing various promotional activities. Together with the F&B office team, you will provide operational support to the teams of the fine dining restaurant Bridges, Garden Bistro Oriole, and the banqueting department.
The internship allowance is €750 gross per month based on a 38-hour workweek. You will also have the opportunity to participate in various cross-trainings across different hotel departments, gain exposure to quality management and operational coordination projects, and take part in an operational management shift once per month.
