Job Overview We're seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that prescriptions are filled accurately and efficiently. You'll be responsible for managing assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks, supporting the team's ability to promptly, safely, and accurately fill patient prescriptions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient and customer inquiries
- Manage assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to support the team's productivity
- Ensure accurate and efficient filling of patient prescriptions
- Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate ethical conduct at all times
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Licensure requirements vary by state
- Attention and focus, with the ability to concentrate on tasks without distraction
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries and concerns
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, customers, and colleagues
- Mathematical reasoning skills, with the ability to calculate day's supply of prescriptions
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
