Description
We are seeking a skilled Bank Engineer to join our team at Spire Claremont Hospital in Sheffield. As a Bank Engineer, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service within the hospital, ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, staff, and contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, maintain, or install plant, equipment, systems, and building structures/fabric
- Perform planned preventative maintenance, testing, and calibration, fault finding, defect correction, and support the emergency on-call rota
- Undertake maintenance/testing/troubleshooting of plant/equipment, ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations/PPM schedules and manufacturers' instructions
- Building and minor electrical responsibilities
- Water responsibilities
- Ventilation system responsibilities
- Decontamination responsibilities
- Medical gas responsibilities
- General duties
Requirements:
- Recognised apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with C&G qualification
- Relevant certificates or willingness to undertake specialist training
- Significant experience in building services management
- Extensive knowledge of building services
- Ability to prioritise demands against resources
- Support hospital compliance with changing legislation
