Pharmacy Intern

As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will play a critical role in delivering the company's purpose and values. You will assist the Pharmacy team in providing an excellent experience for patients, including tasks such as:

• Participating in all aspects of the prescription filling process
• Providing patient counseling
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care
• Offering health screenings and immunizations when appropriate
• Providing customer service
• Ensuring patient safety
• Assisting pharmacy patients and front store customers with questions
• Managing inventory

Additionally, you will be expected to:

• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
• Motivate and inspire the pharmacy team to provide excellent patient care
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions to drive growth and improve performance
• Support implementation of solutions to achieve specified goals
• Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting
• Remain current on new developments, initiatives, and training to provide the best experience for patients
• Seek new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacy Intern License in the state in which you are employed
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

Education:

• Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy

Pay Range:

$16.00 - $22.00 per hour
