Description
As an ESC Project Leader at 3M, you will deliver projects that drive strategic improvements across ESC, ensuring efficient execution through collaboration and innovative ways of working. You will lead projects end-to-end, engaging stakeholders to achieve results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering projects end-to-end with clear scope and effective control across time, cost, and quality
- Engaging stakeholders to support delivery through clear communication and alignment
- Ensuring governance and control by managing risks, maintaining documentation, and escalating key issues with mitigation actions
- Aligning project outcomes to business goals, tracking benefits, and supporting sustainable adoption
- Fostering strong team collaboration, applying suitable methodologies, and driving continuous improvement in delivery practices
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of project management experience
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, planning logistics, engineering, manufacturing operations, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) and Agile delivery (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe)
Additional qualifications that could be beneficial include:
- Experience with AI, digital transformation, or emerging technologies in project delivery
- Proven ability to lead end-to-end projects across Agile and Waterfall environments and manage risks
- Strong problem-solving skills to analyse processes and drive improvements
