We are looking for Junior Claims Experts to join our team in the Paris IDF area. As a Junior Claims Expert, you will be based in our Nanterre office.
Your role will involve working closely with insurance companies to handle claims, assessing damages, and providing detailed reports. You will be the main point of contact for various stakeholders, keeping them informed about the progress of claims and maintaining active commercial relationships with clients.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of assigned claims using Sedgwick's tools and processes
- Estimate damage amounts and write detailed expertise reports
- Communicate claim status, conclusions, and solutions with clients
- Prepare and publish final reports according to required deadlines
- Adhere to the work environment requirements, including following instructions, exercising good judgment and discretion, and meeting deadlines
We are looking for candidates with:
- A degree in Construction, Building, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex files
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a dynamic environment
- A keen interest in legal aspects is desirable
- Strong priority-setting skills, a focus on customer relationships, and a team-oriented mindset
- Autonomy and organisational skills are essential
