We’re Workday, a Fortune 500 company and a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents. We're looking for a Software Engineer to join our Pipedream team, which focuses on arming AI Agents with connectors to third-party applications and APIs.
As a Software Engineer on the Pipedream team, you will help expand the core capabilities of Pipedream Connect and its growing catalog of connectors to meet the ever-evolving needs of our customers. You will work across a diverse and modern technology stack , including Go, Node.js, Rust, Rails, Kotlin, SQL, Redis, and Kubernetes , and have the opportunity to continuously pick up and learn new technologies along the way.
Examples of the types of projects you will work on include:
- Progressive and dynamic auth scopes to provide least-privilege connections for Pipedream Connect use cases
- Service-level account connections for enterprise management use cases
- Document management, normalization, and authorization capabilities across multiple third-party platforms
In your first week, you will familiarize yourself with the development environment and commit your first production code change. By your first month, you will have successfully delivered product features that require API and backend development. By your third month, you will have designed and delivered a significant feature by leading a small team of engineers, guiding the technical approach and shipping the first iteration to users.
We offer a flexible work environment, with a combination of in-person and remote work. You will spend at least half (50%) of your time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners.
The annualized base salary ranges for this role are $176,000 USD - $264,000 USD for the primary location in San Francisco, and $148,200 USD - $264,000 USD for additional US locations.
