Description
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our Currents team, responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving Currents, our data export system at scale.
The Currens system is a robust Kafka-based event pipeline handling tens of billions of messages daily that our customers leverage to analyze user behavior in near real-time.
You'll be a key engineer on a highly collaborative and skilled team, responsible for bringing projects from concept to production and improving our existing high-scale systems.
Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and evolve Currents, our data export system at scale
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Requirements:
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience
- Experience building foundational systems at scale and spearheading software projects
- Experience with Kafka at scale, or comparable technology
- Professional experience working with distributed systems and/or microservices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills

Salary range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $140,400 and $232,200/year with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $156,000 and $258,000/year.
