Description
Vattenfall is seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join their team in Stockholm, Sweden. As a senior member of the team, you will contribute throughout the entire application lifecycle, from solution design and development to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Design secure, robust, and sustainable end-to-end solutions
- Translate product and business objectives into high-quality technical solutions
- Develop and continuously improve customer-facing applications
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, architects, Product Owners, UX designers, and business stakeholders
- Transform requirements into user stories and technical implementations
- Build automated tests and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines
- Promote agile development methods and software engineering best practices
- Support knowledge sharing and technical mentoring within the team
- Contribute to continuous delivery of high-quality features and improvements
- Monitor application performance, reliability, and health throughout the application lifecycle
Qualifications:
- University degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 6 years of professional experience in fullstack software development
- Good knowledge of Swedish
- Experience working with customer-facing digital products
- Experience mentoring developers and driving engineering excellence
- Passion for emerging technologies and continuous learning
- Strong experience with:
- Angular 19 or later
- TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
- C#, .NET Framework, and .NET 8 or later
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native development
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Gitflow
- Experience using development and security tools such as Visual Studio, GitHub, SAST, and DAST solutions
- Familiarity with modern AI-supported development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
- Experience working in agile software development environments
- Ability to translate business and product requirements into secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Fluent English, written and spoken
