Description
We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our team at Red Court Care Home, located at 27 Stanhope Road, Croydon CR0 5NS. You will be providing person-centred care to support residents' independence and honour their choices. The salary for this role is £12.75 - £13.75 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents with varying requirements, including companionship and personal care
- Observe and manage residents' behaviour, documenting and reporting any changes
- Assist residents with nutrition and hydration needs, encouraging them to eat and drink according to their care plans
- Provide physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate care plans in line with regulatory and legal requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Motivation, positivity, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Great communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a care home environment or a Health and Social Care qualification is desirable
