As a Principal Risk Specialist at Capital One you’ll be responsible for working with business partners to identify and mitigate potential risks to Capital One.
Principal Risk Specialists at Capital One are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide risk consulting to one or more business areas relative to their business lines and offer advice and guidance as required
- Develop and leverage key relationships with stakeholders that enable collaboration across the enterprise
- Identify and track events and issues to mitigate risk to Capital One, and coordinate with applicable business areas to define and implement remediation activities
- Monitor and report on Retail Deposit Compliance efforts
- Manage change and lead change control efforts at the process level to ensure impacts are appropriately assessed, documented, and implemented
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 3 years of Risk Management Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Project Management experience leading cross-functional projects and programs in Risk
- 4+ years of Risk Management Experience
- PMP Certification or Masters Certificate of Project Management (CPM)
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are $109,900 - $125,400.
This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
