Description
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Waitrose & Partners in St Neots, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality produce and exceptional customer service to our customers' doors.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing a friendly face for the Waitrose brand while on the road, focusing on great customer service
- Handling customer queries and resolving issues, such as substitutions or short-dated items
- Ensuring safe handling and delivery of products
- Building strong relationships with customers
- Conducting vehicle safety checks and familiarising yourself with your delivery route
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks when not on the road
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- To be 18 or older
- A full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-Category) with no more than 6 penalty points
- Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service
- Physical ability to lift crates, walk up stairs, and move large cages (approximately up to 18kg)
The role offers:
- Competitive hourly pay of £14.31
- Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for work between 22:00 - 06:00
- Part-time opportunity, 15 hours a week, working every Friday and Saturday from 13:45 to 21:30
