Description
We are seeking a Reactor Safety Engineer to join our team at Forsmark, a critical infrastructure facility in Sweden. As a Reactor Safety Engineer, you will work on ensuring the safety of our nuclear power plant's electrical systems and reactor. You will conduct primary radiation safety reviews, maintain and update safety documentation, and collaborate with various teams to ensure the safe operation of the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct primary radiation safety reviews for changes to plant design or documentation
- Maintain and update safety documentation to ensure compliance with current regulations
- Collaborate with teams on plant design and construction projects
- Provide support on reactor safety issues
Qualifications:
- Relevant engineering education and experience in the field or equivalent technical competence gained through work experience in the nuclear industry
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in nuclear power technology, reactor safety, or related fields
- Knowledge of automation and electrical power systems
