We make the green transition possible through extensive investments in our facilities, leading to numerous exciting and varied hydropower projects in Sweden.
As a project leader, you will have the opportunity to lead construction and installation projects at hydropower plants located along some of Sweden's largest and most important rivers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and managing investment projects of varying size and complexity
- Leading and engaging project resources, both internal and external, and collaborating with different functions within Vattenfall
- Handling procurement issues, with support from our procurement department
- Being responsible for forecasts, financial follow-up, project work environment, environment, quality, and time management
- Ensuring that permits and dam safety requirements are followed
- Being responsible for reporting and systematic deviation handling
We are looking for someone who is driven, structured, and good at prioritizing. You should be able to promote collaboration towards clear and common goals, see opportunities in change, and find new solutions when plans are challenged or new situations arise.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in construction and installation, or equivalent competence acquired through work experience
- Extensive experience in project management, investment projects, and contract law
- Experience in the construction sector and contracting industry
- Good knowledge of Swedish (both written and spoken), with English skills being a merit
- Driver's license (B) and ability to travel for work
It's a plus if you have work experience in water construction, dam construction, or dam structures, as well as knowledge of mechanical construction and electrical systems.
