As a Staff Data Engineer at Marks & Spencer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, reliable data solutions with a high degree of automation in the cloud.
You will provide technical leadership to a small squad of engineers, own complex tasks in the backlog, and deliver them routinely with no significant issues. Additionally, you will lead the development of M&S standard data frameworks and policies, ensuring they are understood and adopted.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A demonstrable leadership mentality, business acuity, and big-picture approach
- Expertise in cloud-based data technologies and data warehousing design principles, preferably Azure
- Experience with ETL tools, such as Databricks and SQL
- Experience with Python, SQL, and Spark
