We are looking for a Margin Ops, VP to join our team in Jaipur, India.
Job Summary The successful candidate will be directly responsible for managing the Margin Operations function, ensuring efficient management of initiatives and prioritization of workload to meet goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and reduce risk
- Collaborate across teams, functions, and regions
- Manage risks relating to specific processes and identify any deviations from established policies and guidelines
- Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Participate in the review and update of processes and policy of the valuations team
- Partner with the project team to develop requirements for system enhancements and assist with user acceptance testing
- Refine, automate data capture and cleaning processes in support of the global valuation business
- Manage operational risk by checking strength of existing controls and recommend/implement new or improved controls
- Ensure KRIs and KPIs are closely monitored
- Mentor and coach new joiners
Requirements
- 9-10 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Proven track record in client service with clear evidence of problem-solving
- Ability to present complex issues/ideas to all levels of management in a highly professional and understandable manner
- Experience with mentoring new staff to maintain continuity in key functions
- Detailed knowledge of the front-to-back process in an investment banking environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple product systems
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
