Description
As a Quality Controller at Morrisons, you will perform routine checks on products and packaging to ensure compliance with food safety and legality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting temperature probing, swabbing, weight and size checks
- Recording information using relevant systems to demonstrate traceability and due diligence
- Escalating non-conformances to prevent product withdrawals or recalls
- Working towards minimizing and preventing loss of sales or profit while meeting customer requirements
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a team player
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Be physically active and able to work in varying temperatures (around 8 degrees and below)
- Take pride in completing tasks to the best of their ability
Desirable experience includes:
- Previous manufacturing and food handling experience
- Knowledge of quality control and product allergens
- Food Safety Level 2 and/or HACCP Level 2
