Description
We are seeking a Machining Quality Control and Maintenance Technician to join our team at Tekever in Cahors, France.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of machined parts, performing maintenance tasks on machining centres, and participating in the optimisation of machining cycles.
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct quality controls on machined parts
- Implement corrective and preventive actions as necessary
- Participate in optimising machining cycles to reduce time and improve quality
- Perform maintenance operations on machining centres
- Check the proper functioning of machine feeds and fluid evacuation systems
- Sort and dispose of waste
- Install, dismantle, and maintain cutting tools and jigs
- Troubleshoot machining centre faults
- Keep logs and manuals up to date
- Meet production and delivery deadlines
- Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness
Requirements:
- Secondary education diploma or technical diploma in machining
- Experience with machining centres is desirable
- Knowledge of programming and dimensional control will be valued
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in English or willingness to learn; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
