Description
As a leading global hospitality group, Accor operates the Ibis Styles Medellín Hotel, where you will play a crucial role as a Night Auditor. You will ensure the efficient operation of the hotel during nighttime hours, handling guest check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, controlling cash and key inventories, recording consumption, preparing reports, and monitoring system movements. Additionally, you will guarantee compliance with regulations, respond to requests, coordinate services, and generate sales and migration reports.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing front desk operations during the night shift
- Processing guest check-ins and check-outs
- Handling reservations and cancellations
- Controlling cash and inventory management
- Recording and reporting consumption and sales
- Supervising system movements and reporting any issues
- Ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Intermediate level of English
- Knowledge of hotel management systems such as Zeus
- Familiarity with check-in and check-out procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Understanding of billing and payment operations
- Knowledge of local and international laws and regulations affecting the hospitality industry, including data privacy, consumer protection, taxation, and labour laws
- Basic accounting skills
- Daily revenue reconciliation
- Tax knowledge (VAT, withholding taxes, etc.)
