Archiving Technology at Deutsche Bank develops and operates technological solutions for archiving within the bank. Our team combines cloud architecture, modern software engineering, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning to build secure, scalable and future-ready solutions that address business and regulatory requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the solution architecture for modern cloud-based archiving solutions, from technical design and hands-on development through to reliable production operation
- Design scalable, secure and resilient architectures on Google Cloud, combining .NET, C#, microservices, REST APIs and container technologies with AI and Machine Learning solutions
- Shape the use of AI and Machine Learning within our solutions, evaluate technical approaches and work closely with engineering and DevOps to integrate them securely, reliably and sustainably into the overall architecture and production environment
- Drive key architecture decisions and evaluate technical alternatives, considering business processes, information security, regulatory requirements and technical standards
- Collaborate closely with software engineering, architecture, DevOps and product teams to solve complex technical challenges and continuously optimise architecture, development and operational processes
Your Skills and Experiences
- Deep experience in architecting and implementing complex, highly scalable, secure and business-critical cloud solutions
- Deep, hands-on expertise in Google Cloud, .NET and C#, combined with extensive architecture and implementation experience across microservices, REST APIs, Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong practical experience in AI and Machine Learning, including the integration of AI and ML capabilities into applications and cloud architectures
- Recognised cloud architecture certification, preferably Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or a comparable cloud architecture certification
- Strong understanding of business processes and regulatory requirements, with the ability to translate them into sustainable technical solutions
- Strong technical communication and collaborative problem-solving skills across engineering, architecture and DevOps, combined with experience in continuously optimising cloud solutions and their operating models
