Description
We are looking for a new player to join our System division as a Project Manager.
The System division develops the Ajax software ecosystem, including OS Malevich, Video Management System, cloud services, and client applications. The team ensures the stable operation of all components of the system as a single digital platform.
Requirements:
- Experience of 4-5 years in IT project management as a technical PM
- Leadership, proactivity, and high level of self-organisation
- Analytical and systematic thinking
- Ensuring fast but high-quality releases
- Technical background
- Knowledge and experience of using flexible development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), ability to adapt them to project needs
- Ability to find compromises with stakeholders, clarify necessary information for decision-making
- Ability to solve problems quickly, make decisions, and take responsibility
- Ability to work with a team, lead, coordinate, and motivate
- Comprehensive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work in multitasking mode, attention to detail
- English at Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have:
- Experience working on projects with stable releases and real users
- Experience working on cross-platform projects, API, embedded systems, server-side and mobile/desktop applications
- Experience working on IoT projects
- Understanding of client-server architecture principles
- Experience creating desktop applications
Responsibilities:
- Delivery: release on time, qualitatively, and efficiently
- Participation in prioritisation and maintenance of backlog
- Planning and prioritisation of release scope for the team
- Interaction with technical lead and architect at all stages of project development
- Organisation and modification of operational and working processes in the team to optimise resource usage
- Resource management of the team (organisation and participation in hiring, firing, creation of employee development plans)
- Interaction with stakeholders, Product and BA teams (work with business requests, participation in creation and work with requirements, influence on product decisions)
- Close interaction with Design and Content teams (participation in UI/UX design development and application localisation)
- People management of the team
- Change and risk management
- Solving organisational issues to maintain team comfort and focus on results
