Description
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at WSP, you will be responsible for designing electrical systems, including ELV and weak current systems for buildings, hospitality, commercial, and industrial projects.
You will lead and supervise the electrical engineering team to implement project objectives, plans, and programs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing electrical systems and ensuring compliance with standards
- Liaising with local supply authorities to gain approvals
- Managing records of incoming and outgoing drawings
- Coordinating with other disciplines of the design team
- Training and developing subordinates and the electrical engineering team
- Creating regular project status reports for management
- Staying up-to-date with technical updates and advising management
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 10 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu, Autocad, Revit MEP, PowerCad-5, AGI, and Dialux
- Experience with lightning, power, security, and data layouts, schematic design, and single lines
