WSP is currently seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer / Project Manager to join our Ontario Bridge Team, based in either our London or Mississauga office.
As a Senior Bridge Engineer / Project Manager, you will serve as a subject matter expert, lead multidisciplinary teams, influence strategic decisions, and ensure excellence on projects that define mobility for generations. This role involves technical leadership in the design and delivery of transportation projects, including highway, transit, rail and pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, and unique structures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading technical delivery of projects related to transportation structures
- Overseeing bridge inspections, assessments, rehabilitation design, and construction support
- Serving as a trusted advisor to clients and providing strategic input
- Driving proposal development and contributing to WSP's 'Future Ready' initiatives
- Mentoring junior staff and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's or PhD preferred
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario
- 10-20 years of experience in bridge engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the transportation sector in Ontario
- Proven experience with Design-Build/P3 projects and structural analysis software such as CSIBridge, MIDAS, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of bridge design standards, codes, and manuals, including CAN/CSA-S6
Compensation:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $135,200 – $179,100
- MB & ON: $123,300 – $169,800
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $122,100 – $162,200
