Description
We are seeking a Senior Designer for our Kids Swim product line at Target. As a Sr Designer- Kids Swim, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of Target-owned brands, specifically in the kids swimwear category. Your goal will be to create high-quality products that meet our merchant line plans, assortment strategies, and overall creative direction.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development process for kids swimwear products
- Collaborate with merchants and sourcing partners to ensure product meets business objectives
- Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of textiles, garment construction, and product production
- Mentor associate designers and enable collaboration among the larger team
- Drive brand cohesion and continuity across the division
Requirements:
- Four-year degree in Design, Fine Art, or a related field
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in product design and development
- Proficiency in computer design systems, including Illustrator and Photoshop
- Advanced understanding of textiles, garment construction, and product production
- Strong commercial sense and market knowledge
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary Range: $95,000.00 - $171,000.00 per year
