Description
Leidos is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Application Admin to join its team. The role involves operating, maintaining, and securing cloud tenants within Microsoft Azure, supporting compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, and assisting with cloud architecture efforts aligned with Zero Trust principles.
The Cloud Application Admin will:
- Provide expert-level support for desktops in the Azure cloud computing environment
- Maintain system patches and security posture
- Implement Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
- Improve system administration productivity through shell scripting
- Provide project status reports and system administration work updates
- Aggregate custom detections and alerts into a cloud-native Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) system
- Offer on-the-job training for government and military analysts on KQL and Navy-owned Microsoft products
- Assist in developing a standardized cloud-based case management system
The ideal candidate will have:
- A current TOP SECRET Security Clearance
- Azure Fundamentals Certification
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification
- A BS or Master's degree with 7-10 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Administrator
- 3 years of experience working with Risk Management Framework (RMF)-based Information Security Systems Engineer (ISSE) documentation
- Proficiency in applying STIGs to cloud-based systems
- Familiarity with enterprise backup software, administration, and storage concepts
The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently and in a team, and to manage multiple deadline-driven tasks and projects.
The pay range for this position is $59,150.00 - $106,925.00.
