Description
We are seeking an Associate Scientist to join our team at IQVIA Laboratories, a global leader in drug discovery and development. As an Associate Scientist, you will be responsible for performing and documenting analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and document analytical procedures according to SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct routine data analysis to ensure procedures are proceeding as expected and results are within acceptable tolerances.
- Prepare data analysis results for upload to LIMS system under senior staff guidance.
- Assist in quality investigations, deviations, and resolutions.
- Perform and document calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned.
- Provide hands-on training for other lab personnel in areas of proven competency.
- Assist in reviewing and updating laboratory procedures and techniques.
- Identify and document potential performance errors or unusual results and escalate to senior lab personnel.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a focus on chemistry, biology, or medical laboratory technology.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, regulatory standards such as GLP, laboratory safety, and infection control practices.
- Experience with automation or specialized laboratory equipment.
- Strong computer skills, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.
