Description
WSP is seeking a Construction Inspector to oversee road, bridge, or associated construction projects valued between $1-$50 million. The successful candidate will work closely with the Resident Engineer and contractors to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with contractors' supervisors to monitor daily work progress
- Complete daily reports and calculate unit price quantities
- Coordinate independent material sampling and testing
- Monitor maintenance of traffic and take photographs for tracking progress
- Update red-line drawings using Bluebeam
- Exercise responsible decision-making regarding company funds and resources
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 5 years of applicable experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and understand plans and specifications
- Valid driver's license
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and construction management software
- ACI or NETTCP certification

- Expected salary: $55,600 - $100,000
