Description
Join GDIT as a Quality Assurance Representative III, supporting complex government, defense, and intelligence projects. As a trained and qualified Nondestructive Testing Level II professional with 3+ years of experience in U.S. Navy shipboard/submarine NDT inspections, you will develop QA workbooks, perform quality control tests, record and analyze data, and recommend modifications to existing standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop QA workbooks with test and inspection plans
- Perform quality control tests/inspections on products, materials, and components
- Record and analyze data, write summaries and reports
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards and NAVSEA Standard Items
- Recommend modifications to existing standards, methods, and procedures
- Maintain documentation related to quality assurance tests and inspections
- Provide quality training and guidance to less-experienced staff members
Requirements:
- 3+ years of related experience
- Nondestructive Testing Level II certification for Visual Testing, Liquid Penetrant Testing, and Magnetic Particle Testing
- US citizenship
- High school diploma/GED
Preferred Skills:
- Electrical cableway and connector knowledge
- Welding, welding processes, and Welder Qualification knowledge
