Description
We are seeking a Visual Merchandiser to join our team at Target. As a Visual Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional guest experience by ensuring that visual moments are set and maintained to company guides and visual standards.
The starting pay range for this position per hour is $22.00 - $24.00, and the full pay range is $22.00 - $37.40. Pay is based on several factors, including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

As a Visual Merchandiser, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning daily/weekly visual workload with leader guidance to include sales goals, events, and promotions
- Executing weekly visual assessments and partnering with leaders to improve store visual execution and guest experience
- Assessing and guiding the execution of visual standards across the total store
- Supporting the execution of the company Visual Merchandising strategy, visual standards, and In-Store Marketing (ISM)
- Setting all overhead spotlights to highlight key merchandising presentations
- Solving merchandising issues and adjusting sets to create and maintain inspiring presentations
- Leveraging daily interactions and huddles to teach team visual standards, signing and affordability strategy, and how to create inspiring visual moments
- Maintaining organisation of backroom space and keeping up to date with current signing tools and signing fixtures
- Communicating and supporting team onboarding, continuous learning, and helping to close knowledge and skill gaps through training, influencing, and hands-on experiences
- Demonstrating inclusivity by valuing diverse perspectives and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences

This role requires:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 to 2 years of visual merchandising experience
- Being at least 18 years of age or older
- Business acumen and creativity to inspire guests and drive sales
- Strong understanding of trend and style that is reflective of our brand
- Ability to lead and influence store teams to follow processes that support visual merchandising
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks independently
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Effective communication skills
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
We offer a flexible work schedule, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Although the role is full-time, it does not come with a guarantee of 40 hours each week. Hours will depend on the needs of the business and may fluctuate as required.
