We are seeking a Maintenance Trades Helper- Machine Operator Trainee to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) in Pawcatuck, CT.
As a Maintenance Trades Helper- Machine Operator Trainee, you will apply knowledge of machining, shop mathematics, and machine procedures. You will verify dimensions with measuring instruments and follow written and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of machining, shop mathematics, and machine procedures
- Verify dimensions with measuring instruments
- Follow written and verbal instructions
Requirements:
- 0-2 years of related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic blueprint reading
- Use of measuring tools
- Will be trained on a CNC milling machine
- Willing to invest and shows initiative and quality craftsmanship
- US Citizenship Required
