Description
As an Engineering Manager at Thought Machine, you will lead complex technical projects to deliver on our product roadmap. You will manage a group of talented engineers, contribute to product strategy, and help develop and grow your team.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Product Management and Client Services to define and deliver our product roadmap
- Participate in technical discussions and design reviews
- Measure your team's impact
- Contribute to product strategy
- Develop engineers in your team and help them in their career development
- Lead by example, with involvement in hands-on technical work
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in engineering management of product-aligned teams
- Experience working in cloud-native environments with modern technology stacks (microservices, Kubernetes, Kafka, AWS/GCP, golang/python)
- Technical background to drive technical decisions and great interpersonal skills
