Description
We are seeking a Lease Administrator, APAC to oversee a designated portfolio of leased locations across the APAC region.
The successful candidate will build and maintain effective working relationships with landlords and their representatives, as well as internal Field, Facility, Legal, and Finance teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lease Abstraction & Database Management: managing the outsourced abstraction team, maintaining the real estate database and associated lease files, interpreting lease documents, and administering lease terms.
- Critical Date Management: tracking and monitoring key dates such as renewals, expirations, rent commencement, and possession delivery.
- Essential Point-of-Contact (Internal/External): advising stakeholders and department leadership of issues that may impact lease agreements, coordinating with Facilities on maintenance and repairs, and assisting landlords with ownership or address changes.
- Reporting & Analysis: maintaining tracking logs and work logs, providing data for budgeting and forecasting, and tracking Tenant Improvement Allowances.
- Financial & Compliance Function: assisting accounting with rental payment processing, auditing monthly lease reports, and reviewing rent escalations and other lease charge adjustments.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in lease administration, commercial real estate, or property management.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lease structures, terminology, and documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluency in English, with Cantonese and/or Mandarin proficiency preferred.
