Description
nCino is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers on its retail and consumer product line.
The ideal candidate will have a solid software engineering foundation, fluency in multiple major languages, and strong system design skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement roadmaps, resourcing, project scheduling, and process improvements for the team
- Identify gaps and set technical strategy for the team
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives and leadership meetings
- Drive the evolution of engineering standards and practices across the department
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers
- Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance software development activities
- Evaluate and integrate AI/ML capabilities to strengthen product functionality and user experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience and 2+ years of management experience
- Proficiency in multiple major programming languages
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including system design, architecture, and development practices
- Proven success in a fast-paced development environment
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
The base salary range for this job is: $121,900-$213,300 USD
