Description
We are seeking a Tekniker Lokalnät (Distribution Electrician) to join our team at Vattenfall Services Nordic AB. As a Distribution Electrician, you will work with maintenance, service, and troubleshooting of overhead lines and underground cable networks within various voltage levels (0.4-40kv). Your tasks will include planning, execution, and follow-up of fieldwork, fault tracing, and taking measures during disturbances.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to safe work practices in the field for yourself and colleagues
- Be responsible for and lead fieldwork
- Document and report on work progress
- Communicate with customers and clients regarding project implementation
The work takes place outdoors in varying environments and weather conditions. Travel is a natural part of the role, mainly in the surrounding area but longer trips may occur. On-call duties may also be included.
As a Distribution Electrician with us, you are an important part of our field operations. The role involves a high degree of independence, where you take responsibility for driving your tasks forward. At the same time, you work closely with your colleagues and contribute to good teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Upper secondary education or higher in electrical engineering, technical engineering, or a relevant field
- Experience in electrical or power engineering, or good electrical knowledge (merit)
- Experience in the contracting industry (merit)
- Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- B driver's license (required due to travel included in the position)
- Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
