Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a lawyer to serve as a Pre-Suit Attorney in our Miami, FL office. This is an opportunity to learn Personal Injury, in particular General Liability, at the premier Plaintiff PI firm in the country.
Responsibilities
- Handle all pre-litigation work on a day-to-day basis
- Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process
- Guide clients through the case process
- Draft and file pre-litigation documents
- Complete TD approval for liability issues
- Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
- Manage the release approval process
- Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers
- Focus on Personal injury cases, primarily automotive
- Drive compliance and KPIs amongst the team
- Conduct EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements
Requirements
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association
- 1+ years of personal injury experience
- Ability to manage a high volume of pre-lit cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
