Description
As a Building Maintenance Technician at Ubisoft Montreal, you will plan and execute light construction, renovation, and maintenance tasks in our rental spaces. You will ensure that tasks are accurately estimated, completed within scheduled deadlines, and executed safely in accordance with the Construction Code.
Responsibilities:
- Manage service requests related to maintenance and repairs of spaces;
- Define and track the maintenance plan based on quarterly visits with logistics, design, and work environment teams;
- Perform light construction, renovation, repair, and painting tasks;
- Coordinate task follow-up with subcontractors and verify compliance;
- Keep costs associated with different projects up-to-date;
- Provide weekly project progress updates to the responsible person;
- Manage tool and hardware inventory;
- Propose improvements and projects related to spaces;
- Perform other tasks related to the position.
Qualifications:
- DEP in carpentry;
- High school diploma or equivalent education is an asset;
- Competence card in a related field to renovation is an asset;
- Valid driver's license, if needed for travel;
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction, renovation, or a related field;
- Basic knowledge of carpentry;
- Knowledge of the Building Code, an asset;
- Effective planning and organization of manual work;
- Initiative in task execution;
- Task management with minimal supervision.
