Description
We are looking for a Golang Developer to join a dynamic team for one of our clients. This role is ideal for a backend engineer who enjoys working across both software development and operational functions.
You will play a key role in developing scalable backend services, building and maintaining APIs, and supporting cloud-native infrastructure initiatives. As part of a critical platform resilience initiative, you will contribute to the reliability and scalability of core backend systems while helping drive automation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Golang.
- Build, enhance, and support RESTful APIs for platform and internal services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications running in Kubernetes environments.
- Support operational activities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and system reliability.
- Contribute to platform stability, performance, and resilience initiatives.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience developing applications in Golang.
- Experience designing and building REST APIs.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Experience working with public cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of backend systems, distributed applications, and microservices architectures.
- Experience supporting production environments and operational processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in platform engineering or infrastructure-focused teams.
- Knowledge of automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to reliability engineering principles and cloud-native technologies.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
