Description
The Hampshire Clinic, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join their team in the Outpatients department. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis.
The successful candidate will assist patients with personal hygiene, eating, drinking, and mobility needs, while providing comfort and emotional support to patients and relatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting patients with personal care and hygiene
- Supporting patients with eating, drinking, and nutrition
- Providing emotional support to patients and relatives
- Carrying out routine observations and recording results
- Supporting basic clinical procedures
- Preparing and maintaining clinical areas
- Collaborating with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
Applicants should have:
- Previous experience in a care or health support role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and escalate concerns
- Basic literacy, numeracy, and IT skills
- Physical ability to undertake moving and handling tasks
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) desirable
- Knowledge of safeguarding, infection control, and confidentiality procedures
Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.50 per hour, depending on experience, training, and qualifications.
