Description
We are looking for a new member to join the Fibra team as a Hardware Engineer.
The Fibra division develops wired security and automation devices to protect large commercial facilities. The team implements a full R&D cycle , from creating central units to peripheral sensors , using STM 8/32 and Embedded C. Through collaboration between Embedded, Hardware, Mechanical, and Optical engineers, the division scales the Ajax product line, regularly releasing new devices to solve complex Enterprise business challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Design electronic circuits for devices, calculating circuit elements and conducting device operation simulations.
- Design printed circuit boards using Altium Designer.
- Develop devices considering certification requirements (LVD, EMC).
- Create devices with mass production requirements in mind.
- Debug prototypes, identify and eliminate device issues.
- Prepare documentation for printed circuit board production and assembly.
- Work with version control systems (git, svn).
- English proficiency sufficient for reading supporting documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience in designing electronic circuits, including schematic design and simulation.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB design.
- Knowledge of certification requirements (LVD, EMC).
- Familiarity with mass production processes.
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Documentation preparation experience.
- Version control system experience (git, svn).
- Sufficient English reading skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in power electronics design (230 VAC).
- Radio frequency path design experience (from 400 MHz to 6 GHz).
- Device cost optimization experience (component unification, alternative component search).
- Supply chain experience in high-volume production (10,000+ units/month).
- Component library management experience.
- LTSpice experience.
- Git experience.
- Embedded software development experience for modern platforms (STM32, etc.).
