WSP's railway business in southern and western Sweden is growing, and we're looking for a People Lead (Group Manager) to join our railway group in Halmstad.
As People Lead, you will coach, engage, and support employees in their daily work, with personnel responsibility and a focus on employee well-being, competence, and development.
You will spend most of your time working on customer projects, acting as a leading consultant on railway projects. We believe you are someone who is driven by interesting projects and developing others.
In this leadership role, you will create conditions for your employees to do their best work while developing and enjoying their jobs.
Together with the department's management team, you will work to promote a trusting and idea-rich work climate.
The placement for this role is Halmstad or Varberg with surrounding areas.
Qualifications You are driven by inspiring and developing your team and have several years of experience leading technical consultants in the railway sector.
You are secure in your leadership, have a business-like approach, and are used to communicating strategies, changes, and decisions clearly.
You are fluent in Swedish, both in writing and speaking.
Our Offer The group in Halmstad is part of a railway department with around 60 employees in southern and western Sweden, with broad competence in multiple disciplines.
We work on everything from location investigations, railway plans, and construction documents to construction site follow-up.
Within WSP's national railway section, we work together on technical and competence development.
Through national collaboration, we promote cooperation and build project groups across the country.
All employees have both local affiliation in a group with mixed competences and a national affiliation within their discipline.
