Join our team as a skilled Concrete Finisher, where you'll put your expertise to work on a variety of projects including form setting, flat work, finishing, and curb and gutter installation.
You'll interpret blueprints, operate both hand tools and heavy equipment, and take pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship while ensuring safe worksite practices.
The Public Services Streets Division performs the maintenance, repair, and emergency response for asphalt roads and treatments, traffic markings and striping, street and bike lane sweeping, concrete repair and ADA ramp upgrades, and snow and ice control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs general maintenance and repair at journey skill level of all masonry craft trades including curb and gutter and flat work.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, drawings and diagrams, job orders and various plans as required to perform assigned tasks.
- Safely operates equipment and hand or power tools and performs those tasks that may be required to complete projects, including preparation and clean up responsibilities.
- Safely operates heavy equipment, snowplows, loaders backhoes, or other similar equipment as needed to perform the responsibilities of the position or in emergency situations.
- Performs other duties as required.
