Description
This job is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the company's aircraft, ensuring the transportation of executives and clients to various destinations.
The Corporate Aircraft Captain will operate aircraft safely and efficiently, adhering to all aviation regulations and company policies. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and implementing detailed flight plans, considering weather conditions, fuel requirements, and potential obstacles
- Conducting thorough pre-flight inspections of aircraft systems and equipment
- Coordinating with air traffic control personnel during take-off, flight, and landing to ensure smooth operations
- Managing in-flight emergencies using problem-solving skills and comprehensive knowledge of emergency procedures
- Ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers by addressing their needs and communicating flight details
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They will also have a minimum of 5,000 hours total flying time, including 2,000 hours turbine/multi-engine time, and hold an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification and First-Class Medical Certificate from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

The base pay for this role will depend on location and experience, with an expected range of $218,000 to $323,950 annually for the San Jose, California location.
