Description
Leidos has multiple Targeting Officer positions in Northern Virginia. As a Targeting Officer, you will guide and monitor the execution of collection operations and integrate that collection into a cohesive intelligence narrative. This involves communicating complex information to stakeholders through written reports and verbal briefings, identifying gaps in information, and taking proactive steps to address them.
Key skills for success include the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, often under high stress, and think critically. You must be able to communicate highly complex information accurately, clearly, and in the proper context of a larger effort. Familiarity with drafting and disseminating written RFIs and delivering concise briefings is essential.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work in high-stress environments
- Experience with targeting tools, databases, all-source targeting methodologies, and different intel sources
- Ability to manage taskings and maintain information flow across multiple organisations
- Valid driver's license with real ID
Education: Bachelor's degree and at least 2 to 20 years of full-time professional experience. Candidates with a Master's degree are highly desirable.
