About the Role

- Use AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows as your default way of working, from design and coding to testing, code review, debugging, and incident response.
- Work across the stack when the member outcome calls for it, partnering closely with product, design, and data.
- Design and deliver robust REST/gRPC APIs for client applications and services, and event-driven integrations between backend services.
- Own the health of the services you build, participating in on-call rotation, responding to alerts and incidents, and driving resolution and blameless postmortems.
- Improve reliability and observability by building monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks.
- Bring a customer-first product mindset, partnering with product, design, data science, and analytics to shape what we build.
- Mentor other engineers through code, design, and architecture reviews, sharing AI workflows.
- Make a meaningful impact on the lives of community members.
